ATLAS TO PRESENT AT TWO NATIONAL CONFERENCES ON THE VALUE OF ERGONOMICS
GRAND HAVEN, Michigan, March 3, 2006 - For many, the word "ergonomics"
means burdensome legislation, or endless training without any clear return on investment.
By contrast, Atlas Ergonomics brings bottom-line accountability and results to its
clients, in both office and transportation settings. In March, Atlas will share
its research and clear results at two national conferences.
On March 8, Atlas will present "Bang for Your Buck: Where to Invest Your Ergonomic
Dollar" at the national Applied Ergonomics Conference. Atlas will present research
conducted on its database, showing the impact of different office products and user
knowledge on employee discomfort. The session will help attendees optimize their
investment, an issue of growing importance in an era of limited budgets.
On March 12 and 13, Atlas will present at the Truckload Carriers Association Annual
Convention, attended by nearly 2,000 members and guests. The presentation, entitled
"Ergonomics - Changing Posture to Positive Results" will provide a case
study of a highly successful ergonomics program. An Atlas client and industry leader
will co-present with Atlas, discussing the measured success that has helped provide
significant financial savings.
The featured speaker, Atlas founder Drew Bossen, will be available at the Atlas
Ergonomics booth during exhibition hours for both conferences. Attendees are invited
to meet Drew to ask questions and share their thoughts. Bossen is a licensed physical
therapist with an MBA, who has helped large companies reduce injury-related costs
for nearly twenty years.
