Among service-providing industry sectors, the combined group of drivers and warehouse workers reports the highest ratio experiencing illness or work-related injury. 

Commercial drivers are especially vulnerable.  Drivers are involved in nearly 10% of all work-related fatalities and almost 6% become injured on the job. Half of those injuries require the driver to be off the road for an average of 69 days, driving an estimated 2.6 million lost transport days within the industry every year.
